Frequently asked questions

Everything about ordering DTF transfers from us — pricing, files, turnaround and pressing. If your question is not here, we answer email fast.

DTF (Direct-to-Film) is your artwork printed onto a special film as a ready-to-press transfer. You heat-press the sheet onto your garment and peel — the design bonds straight into the fabric. Full-colour artwork prints in a single pass, with no weeding or cutting on your end.

You pay by the metre of printed film — the more you print, the lower the per-metre rate, from €8/m down to €5/m on bulk rolls. The builder measures your exact length and updates the price live as you upload, so you only pay for what you actually use.

Yes — a 1-metre minimum applies to every order, so anything shorter is still billed as 1 metre. There is no maximum: the more designs you nest onto the sheet, the better your rate.

PNG with a transparent background gives the best print result. Export at 300 DPI at the size you want it printed. We print exactly what is in the file, so any non-transparent area will print as a solid block — please double-check your files before ordering.

We print most files within 24 hours, then dispatch with tracked shipping that arrives in 1–2 business days. From upload to your door is typically just a couple of days.

Heat-press at roughly 150–160°C for 15–20 seconds with medium pressure, peel as directed on your batch instructions, then give it a short second press to lock it in. A home iron can work, but a heat press gives the most consistent, long-lasting bond.

Yes. A properly pressed DTF transfer stays vivid through repeated washing. Wash inside-out at 30°C, avoid harsh detergents, and do not iron directly on the design. Applied correctly, it will outlast most garments.

DTF works on cotton, polyester, blends, canvas and more — light or dark fabrics, with no separate underbase needed. It is ideal for t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, caps and workwear.

Absolutely. If you are a print shop, brand or reseller printing regularly, get in touch and we will set you up with volume pricing tailored to your monthly output. Email us at dtf@mygrafistaseshop.gr.

Yes. Log in to your account, open Orders, and hit Reorder on any past DTF order — the builder reloads your files and sizes so you can send it back to print in seconds.

Files attached to an order are kept for as long as you have an account, so you can reprint any time. A sheet you build but never order is kept for 14 days, then removed along with its files — you will get an email before that happens, and you can always find everything under My files in your account.

Yes. Choose invoice at checkout and enter your company name and VAT number, and we issue a proper invoice for your accountant. If you pay by bank transfer, upload the receipt on your order page and we start production as soon as it is verified.
